How to post an opportunity?

You have no log in?
If you have offered opportunities to Hotelschool The Hague before and you have no login please email placement@placementoffice.nl with the subject: login requested.
If you do not have a log in because you are new to Hotelschool The Hague, please register by clicking here:

or via the submenu For Companies/ For new companies (register)

After you have logged in you will come to your personal page
Here you can change your log in for example

When you click on ‘Go to placement company Portal’ you will be able to add opportunities.

Please fill in the predefined blocks of information so the student can view all details of the opportunity.
And remember for Management Level students also research options, operational tasks and duties, supporting jobs or combinations of these can be uploaded.

We kindly request to upload everything in English so all students are able to read the information.
In case a native speaker is required for the opportunity, it can be uploaded in the local language. In that case please state in the specification that knowledge of the language is required.
If a certain starting date is preferred, make sure you fill in the possible starting date or if this is flexible as our students can start throughout the year.
The majority of Practical Level students start around August and January, but this can also vary. Management Level design their own plan and can start throughout the year.
Please do not mention direct email addresses, so the student applies via the website and we can do follow up etc.

Click ‘Save’ to submit the opportunity.
Your vacancies will be published by the school (no later than three working days after submitting) so students can view the opportunities upon logging in. Please note that we will check if your opportunity meets the requirements. Practical Level for The Netherlands will not be accepted as these opportunities are only offered exceptionally to the students and we already have a large number of these.

By clicking on ‘List’ you can see which opportunities you have submitted and by clicking on the opportunity itself you can edit or copy them. To remove, inactivate or activate an opportunity please email placement@placementoffice.nl as this needs to be done via the school.
If an opportunity becomes vacant again, you do not need to upload again. Just email placement@placementoffice.nl so we can activate it for you.

If a student applies for a vacancy the placementoffice will forward the application so you can get in touch with the student directly.

In case you would like to upload vacancies for different properties we can either provide logins to all properties so they can do it themselves, or you should use a generic company name and fill in the property name in the ''city'' field.
